Scalable Path is seeking a Senior Full-stack .NET Developer to join the team in a fully remote, full-time capacity (40 hours/week). You will lead the design and development of scalable web applications using .NET Core MVC and C#, sharpen SQL queries, mentor engineers, and collaborate with stakeholders across the Americas to deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications

Client company description:

The client is a well-established hospitality and resort management company company, recently becoming the 4th largest operator in its industry in the US. They are transforming how families and travelers vacation, and how great technology supports that mission.

Overview:

The client uses Slack, GitHub, and other tools for collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• - Lead the design and development of robust, scalable web applications using .NET Core MVC and C#.
• - Write, review, and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures for high-performance data access and integration.
• - Architect and maintain backend processes to automate and streamline data movement and transformation.
• - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• - Establish and enforce coding standards, development workflows, and best practices across the team.
• - Participate in and lead code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality.
• - Mentor junior developers and foster continuous learning within the engineering team.
• - Troubleshoot complex system issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• - Contribute to long-term technical strategy and system architecture planning.

Qualifications:

• - 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• - Advanced proficiency in C# and .NET Core MVC for web application development.
• - Extensive experience with SQL, including performance tuning and complex query development.

Relationships - who you'll be working with:

You will be collaborating with an existing team of developers, designers, and product managers spread across the eastern US and the Americas. The client is in the America/New York (-04:00) EDT time zone.

6-12 months

The client is looking for a 6 month engagement with potential to continue longer if things go well.

Preferred regions:

The client's preference is for candidates to be located in Latin America, Canada or United States.
