e&e is seeking a .Net Developer for a remote contract opportunity in Harrisburg, PA!

We are seeking a seasoned Senior .NET Developer with extensive experience in modern .NET frameworks and Angular. The successful candidate will work on designing and developing new web-based applications that align with established coding standards. This role requires hands-on experience in full-stack development, strong UI/UX design skills, and the ability to collaborate with business users and technical teams throughout the application lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable web-based applications using .NET 8+, Angular 18+, Blazor, and Oracle.
• Build and consume Web APIs and integrate with third-party services, including payment processors.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and PowerShell.
• Develop and implement secure, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Utilize tools such as Git, OAuth, Entity Framework, and unit testing frameworks for robust application development.
• Contribute to UI/UX improvements, ensuring applications are user-friendly and accessible.
• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation using tools like Visio.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on Microsoft technologies.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with .NET 8 or higher.
• 4+ years of front-end development experience with Angular 18 or higher.
• 5+ years of experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Strong knowledge of OAuth, API documentation, and third-party integrations.
• Advanced skills with Entity Framework, LINQ, and Oracle database development.
• Proven experience with Azure DevOps, including pipeline configuration and PowerShell scripting.
• Proficiency in Git, unit testing, and technical documentation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Razor pages, CSHTML, and modern CSS frameworks.
• Strong understanding of Dependency Injection, AutoMapper (or similar tools).
• Exposure to GIS concepts and secure coding practices (Veracode, AppScan).
• Experience in modernizing legacy applications and enforcing development best practices.
