Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager to lead major DOT transportation infrastructure projects across Central Texas, including highway, roadway, and bridge work. You will guide construction management teams and serve as a trusted advisor to clients and stakeholders.

The role focuses on delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget, while driving business development with local/state agencies and ensuring quality across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' leadership on major infrastructure construction projects including project management and construction management for transportation infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of project delivery tools and metrics; proven history leading delivery teams to meet client expectations.
• Proven track record in developing and maintaining client relationships that lead to new and repeat consulting work.
• Adept at interpersonal relationship building, conflict resolution, and leading diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of major DOT transportation infrastructure projects across Central Texas, overseeing highway, roadway, bridge, and related improvements.
• Partner with Texas PM/CM leadership to support growth and delivery of the transportation program; manage execution and multidisciplinary teams.
• Develop and maintain client relationships; support business development with local and state transportation agencies.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to high quality; identify and mitigate risks and coordinate resources.
• Provide strategic oversight throughout the construction lifecycle and maintain communication with stakeholders.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field

8+ years' leadership on major infrastructure projects

Strong understanding of project delivery tools & metrics

Proven track record in developing and maintaining client relationships

Interpersonal relationship building & conflict resolution
