Job summary

West 4th Strategy seeks a Senior Program Support Specialist for the Naval Dosimetry Center (NDC) in Bethesda, MD. The role provides senior operational support to the Department Head, serves as an NVLAP-accredited Signatory, and acts as the primary operations contact for commands and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with standards, maintaining procedures, and coordinating with leadership to sustain mission readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional management experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Power BI/Tableau, and SharePoint.
• Experience creating clear written briefings for senior audiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level operational support to ensure dosimetry operations meet requirements.
• Obtain and maintain NVLAP accredited Signatory qualifications and perform signatory duties.
• Ensure facility remains compliant with applicable standards and determinations.
• Produce accurate, traceable exposure reports delivered on time to commands.
• Maintain and train the operational workforce per policy and mission needs.
• Serve as operations-facing point of contact for commands and stakeholders.
• Keep procedures current and aligned with approved changes and improvements.
• Address external inquiries with timely, accurate information and gather required data.
• Coordinate with Science/Technical/Quality leads to support outputs.
• Provide deputy leadership to sustain operations in the Department Head's absence.
