Job summary

Asian Law Caucus in San Francisco seeks an experienced Individual Giving Officer to launch and grow its donor program, shaping strategy and systems in a pivotal moment for the organization.

You will build and manage relationships with donors and alumni, collaborate with leadership, and expand fundraising across the Bay Area, statewide, and nationally, while balancing day-to-day cultivation with long-term planning.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years in individual giving, major gifts, or annual giving.
• Strong relationship-building, warmth, credibility, discretion.
• Experience building fundraising strategies, systems, or programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive individual giving strategy aligned with annual and long-term goals.
• Identify and manage a portfolio of individual donors and prospects with cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
• Collaborate with the Chief Development Officer to set priorities and grow the program.
• Expand donor base beyond the Bay Area to statewide and national levels.
• Prepare donor materials, briefings, and stewardship communications.
• Support donor meetings and events, including occasional evenings and weekends.
• Track activity and strengthen moves management, reporting, and revenue forecasting.
