Job summary
FedEx is seeking a Domain Architect to lead long-range planning of Global Clearance architecture and related domains. You will partner with business leaders and development teams to align technology strategy with business goals and deliver coherent, integrated solutions.
You will mentor engineers, drive cross-functional architecture initiatives, and oversee architectural modeling, standards, and governance throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, information systems, business or equivalent.
- 5 years in IT or engineering environment; advanced degree may offset.
- Experience leading architecture roadmaps and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead long-range planning for application, data and technical architecture.
- Develop roadmaps for future state of technology and solutions.
- Identify gaps between current and future states and propose strategic solutions.
- Gather requirements from business leaders and IT stakeholders; develop functional/system specs.
- Facilitate workshops to align technology strategies with business architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of architectural solutions.
- Create and maintain architectural models and documentation.
