VNS Federal Services is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to support project reporting, invoicing, performance tracking, and compliance activities for DOE projects. Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, monitoring multiple projects, and ensuring compliance with contract requirements and budgets.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of invoicing experience, strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, and knowledge of DOE EVMS principles and FAR/DEAR.

Qualifications

• AA degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience reviewing/preparing project charges and invoicing.

Responsabilités

• Plans, schedules, organizes, monitors, and provides reports/metrics for multiple projects to ensure contract and budget compliance.
• Supports Project Manager with contracting lifecycle activities including scope definition, estimating, detailed plans, tracking, and status communication.
• Supports compliance of project contracts to FAR/DEAR requirements.
• Assists contracts department with administering subcontracts.
• Develops project schedules/cost control programs.
• Analyzes cost, scope, and schedule variances and reports to the Project Manager.
• Provides input to risk management identification, mitigation, and tracking.
• Utilizes automated cost management and scheduling systems.
• Prepares monthly reporting data and metrics.
• Reviews contract changes for scope entitlement and cost reasonableness.
• Maintains safety knowledge and performs duties safely.
