Job summary

AGE Solutions is seeking a Telecommunications Specialist to support our DoD customer at Fort Belvoir, VA. The role manages and sustains local telecom solutions, plans and completes projects, and interfaces with contract and government leadership.

You will install and maintain VoIP, analog, and ISDN networks, coordinate with vendors, deliver briefings, and support asset management and SNOW queue tasks. Project leadership and on-site installation experience are required.

Qualifications

• Seven years of progressive IT experience with telecommunications or network administration.
• At least five technical projects involving telecom, with one in the last three years.
• Must reside within commuting distance to Fort Belvoir, VA for on-site work.

Responsibilities

• Work independently on large site or as part of a small team.
• Direct technical work on projects and lead on-site management of installations.
• Perform analyses and prepare documentation; deliver briefings and presentations.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and repair IT systems, circuits, and end-user devices.
• Coordinate with Vendor PM, COR, and Program POCs to ensure correct solutions.
• Develop deployment plans from site survey to sustainment and post-installation.
• Complete telecom moves, adds, changes, maintenance, and testing; attend meetings.
• Plan, install, troubleshoot, and sustain VoIP, analog, and ISDN solutions.
