Job summary
AGE Solutions seeks a Telecommunications Specialist to support a DoD customer at Fort Belvoir, VA. You will manage local telecom solutions, install and sustain VoIP/ISDN/CATV/video systems, and lead on-site project work with government leadership.
The role requires 7+ years IT experience, 5+ telecom projects, and a DoD Secret clearance. On-site only with potential for career growth and certifications.
Qualifications
- Must have seven (7) years of progressive IT experience.
- Must have at least five technical projects involving telecommunications or network administration.
- Must possess a current DoD Secret clearance or a completed IT-II/NACLC/T3 investigation.
- Must reside within a commutable distance of Fort Belvoir, VA for full-time onsite work.
Responsibilities
- Direct technical work on projects and lead on-site installations.
- Plan, install, troubleshoot, and sustain VoIP, analog, and ISDN solutions.
- Configure and deliver hard phones and softphone solutions.
- Manage asset and queue for ServiceNow tickets.
- Coordinate with Vendor PM, COR, and program POCs for solutions.
- Prepare briefs and presentations for leadership.
- Lead teams in on-site management of installations.
- Develop and manage project plans through deployment phases.
