Job summary

Abacus Technology Corporation is seeking a Systems Engineer to provide technical support for the C3I&N Directorate at Fort Meade. This is a full-time position requiring extensive systems engineering experience and a TS/SCI eligible clearance.

The role includes program reviews, system validation, documentation, and technical presentations to support acquisition, deployment, and sustainment across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 12+ years experience in systems engineering including at least 5 years in a DoD environment.
• Thorough understanding of applications software, operating systems, networks, storage platforms, and system architecture.
• Experience with lifecycle from initiation through deployment/sustainment.
• Proficiency with process modeling and workflow diagrams.
• Experience implementing Digital Engineering, Digital Thread, and Digital Twin techniques.

Responsibilities

• Review program portfolios to evaluate plans and improve systems engineering processes.
• Perform program reviews to assure subsystem and system performance against specifications.
• Prepare technical documents defining system/subsystem characteristics.
• Prepare management reports and conduct technical presentations for planning and corrective action.
• Provide system engineering support across acquisition, development, integration, sustainment, and deployment, including risk management inputs.
