Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a System Administrator 2 to support the implementation, troubleshooting, maintenance, configuration, monitoring, operation, and problem resolution of IT systems and infrastructure, including UNIX and Windows operating systems, network components, and client/server/storage/network devices.

The role requires DoD 8570 IAM Level I certification and active Top Secret/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph eligibility; a technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent 14 years SA

Qualifications

Provide in-depth experience in trouble-shooting IT systems.
DoD 8570 compliance with IAM I is required.
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with ten years SA experience is required or fourteen total years with 4 extra SA years in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
Manage IT system infrastructure and related processes.
Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems and related network components.
Support day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices.
