SAIC is seeking an Acquisition Specialist to support the Horizon program in El Segundo, CA. The candidate will advise on acquisition strategies, schedules, contracting, budgeting, and execution to enable rapid, effective weapon system capability delivery for the U.S. Space Forces.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in business management or equivalent and 14+ years in DoD acquisitions/PM or, alternatively, Master’s degree and 12+ years of related experience.
• Experience with DoD Major Capability Acquisition System process and related DoD/AF policy frameworks.
• Strong briefing, writing, and analytical skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Aufgaben

• Provide acquisition strategy, scheduling, contracting, budgeting, and execution guidance to Program/Project Managers.
• Prepare status reports, coordinate staff meetings, and develop acquisition plans and executive briefings.
• Draft and coordinate program planning documents per DoDI 5000.02 and related policies; assess progress, risks, and issues.
