SAIC seeks a Contracts Specialist in El Segundo, CA, to support the Space Force portfolio with acquisition and program management responsibilities. The role involves liaising with government contracting offices and ensuring auditable contract files across the lifecycle.

Ideal candidates hold a related bachelor's degree and 5+ years of federal contracting experience, with strong FAR/DFARS knowledge and a track record in pricing strategy and negotiations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 5+ years of experience in contracts management.
• Experience managing the full federal contract lifecycle (pre-award and post-award).
• Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS).
• Experience with government contract vehicles (FFP, CPFF, T&M, IDIQ, BPAs).
• Ability to evaluate complex vendor cost proposals and negotiate pricing.
• Strong collaboration with program managers, legal counsel, and financial analysts.

• Prepare contract files for review by program and contracting offices.
• Coordinate between Government organizations and summarize information for presentations.
• Lead development of contractual and pricing strategies and funding profiles.
• Provide general contract office support including government taskers.
• Assist with contract negotiation and administration, including modifications.
