Job summary

Cintel, Inc. in Huntsville, AL seeks a Software Engineer (SME) to lead design, development, testing, and management of IT application projects.

You will integrate third-party components, enhance code, and automate operations, supporting analytics and data processing in a fast-paced, security-conscious environment.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of experience, a BS (MS preferred), and an active Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.
• 10+ years of software engineering, application development, and systems integration.
• Experience with Java, C++, Python, or equivalent programming languages.
• Experience with Terraform, Gitlab; Terragrunt, Agile, Maven is a plus.
• Strong SDLC, version control, and testing frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and manage application development projects.
• Integrate third-party components and build new capabilities.
• Improve existing code and automate operations and maintenance tasks.
• Support analytics, modeling, and data-intensive solutions.
• Contribute to SDLC activities from planning to deployment and QA.
• Mentor team members and share development best practices.
