Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications for the military aviation mission planning enterprise. The role requires a Secret clearance and 10–12 years of DoD software experience, with strong C# / C++ and front-end skills in .NET/HTML5/JavaScript frameworks.

The position is hybrid, based in California, MD, with remote work options.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Security Clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10–12 years of software engineering experience in a DoD environment.
• Experience with C# and C++.
• Experience developing Microsoft Windows applications.
• Experience with .NET, Windows Forms, WPF, HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, or React.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze software requirements and develop software solutions.
• Design and develop software components and user interfaces.
• Perform system and unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Take ownership of applications and act as a technical SME.
• Participate in technical meetings and provide recommendations.
• Collaborate with development teams, customers, and software users.
• Support system modeling, simulation, and analysis.
