Job summary

MANTECH seeks a motivated Software Developer to join our team in Belcamp, MD, on-site to support Army PTSS programs. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining software for Windows and Linux, collaborating with analysts, and delivering robust interfaces and tools.

The ideal candidate has a BS in a related field, 10+ years in software development, and DoD experience is preferred. A current Secret clearance is required to work on sensitive systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science and 10+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years in the DoD supporting software development preferred.
• Ability to analyze requirements and write code to meet specifications.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and maintaining software for a variety of engineering applications
• Working with analysts to understand their analytic or interface requirements
• Developing tools and interfaces
• Designing, developing, and testing operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software applications for both Windows and Linux systems
• Setting operational specifications and formulating and analyzing software requirements
• Designing embedded systems software
• Responsible for designing, coding, testing, and deploying software applications
• Collaborate with teams to meet user needs, ensuring the functionality and quality of the software across different platforms and systems.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement updates based on user feedback.
