Job summary

CGS is seeking a Security Support Specialist in Arlington, VA to monitor, advise, and assist on all aspects of security activities. This senior-level, on-site role requires extensive DoD/IC experience and Top Secret/SCI clearance to support USSOCOM personnel and allied tenants.

The successful candidate will plan security programs, coordinate SCIF-related efforts, and lead security training. A deep understanding of DoD policies and escalation procedures is essential to ensure compliant operations

Qualifications

• Six+ years of Physical, Personnel and Special Security experience within the DoD or equivalent Government agencies.
• Operational level experience in compartmented programs in DoD, IC, or supporting U.S. contractors.
• Experience with PSIP, Access control, ACCM, and SAP/STO processes.
• Experience integrating compartmented programs into mission processes.
• Experience supporting SCIF planning, accreditation, and ICD 705 standard familiarity.
• Capable of planning, structuring, and leading security training for professionals.
• Experience with Foreign Disclosure Officer/Representative actions.
• Experience with personnel background investigations for collateral and higher security clearances.
• Knowledge of DoD 5200.01/DoD 5200.02/DoD 5105.21 volumes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and assist in the implementation of security activities at Top-Secret and higher classifications.
• Develop written technical approaches and methodologies for security proposals.
