Job summary

Link Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Senior Information Security Specialist in Orlando, FL to lead RMF implementation, risk assessments, and security operations across DoD IT environments.

You will collaborate with government teams and engineers to strengthen cybersecurity postures and ensure regulatory compliance. The role requires DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II or higher, 8+ years of experience, and strong leadership to mentor staff and direct security programs.

Qualifications

• Eight (8+) years of experience supporting cybersecurity, information assurance, or information security programs.
• IAT Level II certification or higher per DoD 8570/DoD 8140.
• Extensive RMF, vulnerability management, and cybersecurity compliance experience.
• Experience leading cybersecurity initiatives and advising senior stakeholders.
• Experience supporting DoD enterprise information systems.
• Baseline certification required within six months of hire if not already obtained.

Responsibilities

• Lead RMF implementation and security authorization for enterprise information systems.
• Serve as a cybersecurity SME for Government stakeholders and technical teams.
• Develop, maintain, and enforce cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.
• Lead vulnerability management activities, remediation efforts, and POA&M management.
• Conduct cybersecurity assessments, compliance reviews, and risk analyses.
• Manage system authorization packages and support ATO, IATT, and authorization lifecycle activities.
• Oversee continuous monitoring programs and security compliance initiatives.
• Review and validate security controls per NIST, DoD, Army, and federal requirements.
• Manage cybersecurity reporting requirements, metrics, and executive status briefings.
• Ensure cybersecurity requirements are integrated into COOP planning and operations.
• Collaborate with engineers, system administrators, and leadership to improve security posture.
• Lead audit preparation and support inspections conducted by Government and external organizations.
• Mentor junior cybersecurity personnel and provide technical leadership.
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity documentation, policies, procedures, and technical guidance.
