Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Program Manager to lead scheduling, cost estimation, and execution for a DOE-related federal program, onsite in Washington, DC. You will manage a classified IT environment and coordinate across technical teams to ensure disciplined delivery and accuracy.

Requirements include 8+ years in DoD/IC, proficiency with MS Project and MS 365, PMP certification, and an active Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

8+ years of senior-level program/project management experience within DoD or IC environments
Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Microsoft 365, and technical IT environments
Strong expertise in scheduling, cost estimation, risk management, and cross-functional coordination; must be concise and detail-oriented
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; PMP certification
Active Top Secret clearance (within 5 years) required

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain detailed integrated master schedules using Microsoft Project and M365 tools
Coordinate with technical teams to track progress, manage dependencies, and mitigate risks
Provide clear, concise updates on milestones, critical path, and delivery status to leadership
Prepare and manage cost estimates aligned with schedules and program scope
Support risk and requirements boards to ensure timely execution of contract deliverables
