Job summary
L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Sr. Associate Network/Helpdesk Engineer for our Colorado Springs site.
The role requires active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and involves managing and maintaining DoD DoD Netops-compliant server and virtual environments. The engineer will collaborate with site and operations managers, perform post‑mission analysis, monitor RF connections, and ensure 24/7 network availability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required with 2+ years of related experience or 0-2 years with graduate degree.
- Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required.
- Experience in DoD network environments and Windows server administration preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide Network Support for a DoD Senior Leader Network, exercising independent judgment when incidents occur.
- Optimize system performance and perform mission planning and RF handovers.
- Manage WAN routers, switches, and other networking configurations.
- Monitor RF status and perform preventative maintenance to avoid outages.
- Provide Tier I/II engineering support for RF field activities and mission readiness.
