Job summary

KBR, Inc. seeks a Network Engineer for the MCPP-Philippines program. The role configures, secures, and maintains information systems for the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program (Philippines).

Initial training takes place in Jacksonville, FL, with follow-on CRC training for placement in Subic Bay, Philippines. The candidate will implement and enforce network policies, manage hardware and virtual environments, and coordinate VPNs, VLANs, VOIP, and security measures under MCEN and local providers.

Qualifications

• BS degree in information technology or related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ten years of progressive experience with information systems management and network planning.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD clearance and security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and implement information management services across hardware, peripherals, and software.
• Install, configure, secure, maintain, upgrade, and recover data systems and hardware.
• Administer user security and access policies.
• Implement and coordinate VPNs and network connections.
• Establish and manage a Help Desk system.
• Implement a risk management program.
