Job summary

KBR is seeking a Communications Technician for the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program – Philippines (MCPP-PHIL). You will install, operate, maintain, and repair electronic and data/communications equipment to support prepositioning operations and crisis response.

The role requires five years of relevant experience, an associates degree or equivalent, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain necessary security clearances.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Computer Science or related field, or coursework toward BS in Electronic Engineering.
• Five years of progressive experience in maintenance and logistics for communications systems.
• U.S. Citizen and ability to obtain/maintain DoD security clearance.
• U.S. Stateside Driver’s License and Passport.
• Able to obtain Philippines work permit.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute maintenance actions for communications systems per contract SOW.
• Repair, adjust, service, and store communications and electronics systems.
• Support equipment readiness and maintenance shop organization; manage maintenance assets.
• Review invoices and requisitions to plan work activities.
• Inventory parts and requisition replacements as needed.
• Comply with safety regulations, ISO policies, time schedules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
