Job summary

i3 designs and maintains DoD computer systems and networks to ensure operational security and protect data from internal and external threats. The role emphasizes RMF compliance, vulnerability management, and collaboration with customers and end users.

With a Bachelor’s degree and 6–12 years of relevant experience, you will design, implement, and maintain secure DoD networking environments in a multi-vendor setting, using HBSS and DISA ACAS tools. A DoD clearance and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or relevant field.
• 6–12 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with DoD network in a multi-vendor environment.
• Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (HBSS, DISA ACAS).
• Active Security+ or CISSP certification preferred.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance and US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain a DoD network in a multi-vendor environment (Cisco, Juniper, Brocade).
• Monitor and maintain network/system security, ensure compliance with security requirements, and recommend solutions.
• Maintain RMF-aligned security status and compliance through policies and procedures.
• Provide network/system vulnerability scanning via HBSS and DISA ACAS tools.
• Collaborate with end users to configure network multicast, broadcast, etc.
• Provide reports to internal and external customers in response to queries.
• Other duties as assigned.
