KaylaTek, Inc. is seeking a senior network engineer to support DoD-classified environments at JBAB in Washington, DC. The role focuses on secure, large-scale enterprise networks, implementation of DNAC/ISE, and HAIPE device management.

You will deploy, manage, and troubleshoot complex network infrastructures, while collaborating with DISA and 26th NOS/DISA teams. A DoD clearance and IAT Level II certification are required, with MS/CS-related experience preferred.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years related experience (or more)
• 7-10+ years in network engineering, enterprise environments
• Current 8140 IAT Level II certificate (CCNP in Enterprise or Security)
• DoD/defense contractor experience mandatory
• Hands-on with deployment, fabric management, and automation using Cisco DNAC
• Expertise in 1X wired/wireless using Cisco ISE
• Configuration, management, and troubleshooting of HAIPE devices
• Strong routing/switching knowledge (BGP, OSPF) and DISA STIGs

Responsabilidades

• Monitor networks for messages, alarms, or issues
• Identify and resolve problems or escalate as needed
• Troubleshoot using script-based methods or standard procedures
• Coordinate with higher-level support units during outages
• Maintain security posture per DoD requirements, apply updates and STIGs
• Configure and troubleshoot TACLANEs to secure data in transit
• Serve as final escalation point for complex routing and security issues
• Perform packet capture analysis and root cause analysis
• Provide actionable feedback to prevent repeat issues
• Create and maintain network diagrams and SOPs
• Support site lead and day-to-day operations
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
• Support on-call rotation schedule
