Job summary

Bureau of Naval Personnel in Annapolis, MD seeks a network engineer to lead or join a project team responsible for the enterprise wired and wireless network infrastructure. You will design, implement, and maintain Cisco Firepower/ASA/Nexus/Catalyst and Aruba solutions to keep networks secure and performant.

You will administer ClearPass NAC and C2C, monitor health, troubleshoot outages, and advise colleagues on network issues, while applying DISA STIGs and contributing to RMF documentation as

Qualifications

• Specialized experience in designing, configuring, and troubleshooting enterprise wired and wireless network infrastructure using Cisco and/or Aruba platforms.
• Experience administering or implementing network access control solutions such as ClearPass, including device compliance and authentication.
• Ability to monitor network performance, diagnose outages, and apply DISA STIGs to network infrastructure devices.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise wired and wireless network infrastructure.
• Plan, deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco and Aruba networking hardware.
• Administer ClearPass NAC/C2C for device compliance and secure access.
• Monitor network performance, diagnose outages, and restore service.
• Advise team on network infrastructure issues and actions.
• Maintain STIG compliance and RMF input.
