Job summary

Odyssey is a Senior Network Engineer / System Administrator role supporting the 782nd Test Squadron on TMASIII at Eglin AFB, FL. You will be the principal technical authority for information systems operations, cybersecurity, and information assurance in classified, mission-critical environments.

You will lead security controls, vulnerability management, and compliance efforts while guiding automation infrastructure improvements.

Qualifications

Advanced degree preferred; extensive DoD experience may substitute with government approval.
Security+ mandatory for DoD environments.
CISSP/CASP certifications highly preferred.
Proven track record in system administration, cybersecurity, and information assurance.

Responsibilities

Serve as the principal technical authority for information systems operations, cybersecurity, and information assurance.
Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of security controls for real-time, standalone, and networked systems in classified environments.
Direct vulnerability management, incident response, and risk mitigation strategies for complex test facilities.
Evaluate, select, and integrate emerging technologies to support mission capability.
Architect and manage configuration management and change control processes for traceability and integrity.
Oversee Certification & Accreditation, audits, and compliance programs using DISA STIGs, SCC, STIG Viewer, HBSS, and ACAS tools.
Mentor and develop engineering and IT teams; grow automation infrastructure.
