Job summary

McBride Consulting is seeking a Network Administrator to support the Training Division (LMOC) at Hill Air Force Base in Ogden, Utah. The role covers system and network administration for classified and unclassified environments, plus security and lifecycle support for DoD programs.

You will work with government leadership, provide help desk support, oversee VMware, cabling, and system upgrades, and ensure availability, integrity, and reliability of IT infrastructure in a highly secure setting.

Qualifications

Clearance: Must have and maintain a Secret Clearance.
Education & Experience: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years in the DoD, or 7+ years total with 5+ in the DoD.
Experience with DoD programs and lifecycle readiness is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide system administration for LAN, WAN, web, and communications in classified and unclassified environments.
Support network security for command and control systems.
Assist with installation and maintenance of government IT services and cabling.
Perform VMware server administration and high-availability solutions.
Develop and implement system upgrades to ensure availability and reliability.
