Job summary

Odyssey Systems seeks a Network Administrator to support the LMOC program at Hill AFB, Ogden, UT. The role covers LAN/WAN, security, and DoD IT services across classified and unclassified environments, with VMware server administration and government IT infrastructure tasks.

Must be a U.S. citizen with Secret clearance; qualifications include a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree and DoD experience or equivalent. On-site work with occasional travel and a strong emphasis on security compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Secret clearance; ability to maintain.
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 3+ years DoD, or 7+ years total with 5+ DoD years.
• DoD 8570.01‑M IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security).

Responsibilities

• Provide system administration for LAN/WAN, web, and comms in classified and unclassified environments.
• Support network security for command and control systems.
• Provide classified communication venues for sensitive discussions.
• Administer LANs, messaging, telecom infrastructure, and DoD IT services.
• Perform VMware server administration and high-availability solutions.
• Install communications cabling (CAT5, fiber).
• Plan, install, and analyze government-furnished computer systems.
• Develop and implement upgrades for IT infrastructure.
• Analyze system usage and performance.
