Job summary

SAIC has an immediate opening for a Major Systems Acquisition (MSA) Specialist to support a critical development effort. You will develop, coordinate, and oversee program planning and governance to drive mission success.

The role requires 10+ years of DoD/IC MSA experience, TS/SCI with Poly, and strong written and oral communication to brief decision-makers. Travel up to 10% and collaboration across cross-functional teams are expected.

Qualifications

• Must currently hold a TS/SCI and Poly.
• Bachelor's Degree, or commensurate experience may be substituted for the degree.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in DoD or IC MSA efforts or comparable ACAT I/II programs.
• Strong familiarity with Milestone Decision Authorities and System Review Boards.
• Exceptional oral and written communications for decision makers.
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to multi-task and produce high-quality deliverables within deadlines.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Experience with MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.

Responsibilities

• Develop, draft, and coordinate overarching program planning and execution documents in support of MSAs.
• Facilitate program reviews, coordinating inputs from many stakeholders.
• Participate in technical interchange meetings with customer program and vendor stakeholders.
• Guide and support program acquisitions through formal governance and oversight processes.
• Develop acquisition plans, schedules, and executive program briefings.
• Provide program element coordination among various stakeholders.
• Work independently or in a team with limited oversight; take initiative.
• Anticipate and address customer requirements.
