Job summary

Parsons is seeking a highly experienced Logistics Planner (SOCPAC) to support U.S. Special Operations Command planning from the SOCPAC HQ in Hawaii. The role focuses on theater preparation, capability gaps, and coordination with DoD and government agencies, with limited travel requirements.

Qualified candidates will have 8+ years in DoD planning, a TS clearance, and a relevant bachelor’s degree. This is part of our Federal Solutions team offering diverse, mission-driven work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; leadership or decision-making capacity valued.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills per US SOC/JDOC doctrine.
• Experience in DoD/service-level strategy, policy, planning and operations desired.
• Top Secret clearance required.
• Must be able to obtain passport and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Produce three country or region books each year of the contract: information, infrastructure, vendors.
• Develop three concepts of support for planning efforts annually: theater opening, analysis, integration, health care planning.
• Participate in three exercises per year: SOCSCC/GCC simulations, MESL development.
• Provide project planning and scheduling: site assessments, risk assessments, environmental impacts, resource estimates.
• Limited travel as directed to support activities.
