Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Logistics Planner (PACAF) to support AFSC/GCC headquarters planning, with duties spanning theater setup, coordination with Air Force and DoD entities, and ongoing exercises. The role requires TS clearance, DoD planning experience, and strong communication skills.

Expect limited travel and close coordination with government and contractors. Normal duty location is PACAF HQ (HI) with travel to subordinate commands as directed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Operations, Engineering, or Business; leadership/decision-making experience acceptable.
• Current Top Secret clearance required.
• 8+ years in DoD/Service-level strategy, policy, planning, and operations.
• Must hold and maintain a current passport.
• Military experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills per Air Force/Joint doctrine.

Responsibilities

• Produce three country or region books each year of the contract, covering general information, transportation/distribution infrastructure, engineering infrastructure, and local vendors.
• Develop three concepts of support for deliberate/time-constrained planning efforts annually, including theater opening, TPFDD analysis, and health care planning.
• Participate in three exercises per year (AFSCC/GCC exercises, MESL development, and staff documentation).
• Provide project planning and scheduling, site assessments, risk analyses, environmental impact assessments, and resource estimates as directed.
• Limited travel as directed to support activities.
• Respond to additional client requirements directed by company HQ.
