Job summary

SAIC’s Air Force, Space & Intelligence Business Group in Tampa, FL seeks a Senior Project Manager to support JCSE’s Modernization Division at MacDill AFB. You’ll lead large-scale IT modernization programs, manage scope, schedule, cost, and risk across multiple workstreams, and brief senior leadership.

You will coordinate with government stakeholders, contractors, and technical teams, develop PM artifacts, and mentor junior staff while upholding DoD and SAIC standards.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of project or program management experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• PMP certification.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II or III certification (e.g., Security+, CASP+, CISSP).
• ITIL v4 Foundations certification.
• Experience leading complex IT programs within DoD or federal environments.
• Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong IT service management, modernization, and cloud/infrastructure program knowledge.
• Proficiency with MS Project, Jira, and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale IT programs.
• Provide strategic program oversight across scope, schedule, cost, risk, and performance.
• Coordinate with government stakeholders and contractor teams.
• Develop and maintain project management artifacts (plans, schedules, risks, comms, metrics).
• Manage governance processes (IPT meetings, milestone reviews, exec briefings).
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues, dependencies.
• Lead resource planning and task assignment across teams.
• Ensure compliance with DoD, USTRANSCOM, and SAIC standards.
• Advise on process improvement and modernization initiatives.
• Support contract management and performance reporting.
• Mentor junior project managers and staff.
• Support strategic plans and long-term modernization roadmaps.
