Job summary

Metric5 is seeking a Senior Acquisition Specialist to provide IT acquisition support to a major U.S. Army command. You will help deliver full spectrum IT commodities and services to enable Soldiers and commanders to access information anytime, anywhere.

Responsibilities include eliciting requirements, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring contracts are awarded on time and within budget, with DoD regulations and PWS development for software central to mission success.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of DoD acquisition regulations (FAR/DFARS) and DoD Directive 5000.01.
• Experience supporting government PMs on contractual matters.
• Experience developing software-focused Performance Work Statements (PWS).
• Familiarity with government contracting processes and milestones.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT acquisition support to a major U.S. Army command.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit requirements and define software needs.
• Help ensure contracts are awarded on time and within budget.
• Apply DoD regulations and contract policies in day-to-day activities.
