Job summary

Sugpiat Defense, LLC seeks an Information Security Analyst Senior to provide senior-level information assurance and cybersecurity support for the Missile Defense Agency program. You will implement RMF, coordinate A&A activities, and guide teams across security controls and continuous monitoring.

Responsibilities include developing RMF artifacts, conducting vulnerability management, and mentoring junior staff while ensuring DoD/NIST compliance and secure system operations on DoD networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related field.
• Minimum eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience supporting DoD information assurance or cybersecurity programs.
• Experience implementing and supporting RMF.
• Experience supporting Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities for DoD information systems.
• Experience developing, maintaining, and reviewing RMF documentation and cybersecurity artifacts.
• Experience conducting or supporting security control assessments, continuous monitoring, vulnerability management, and configuration compliance activities.
• Experience using eMASS or comparable RMF tools.
• Experience supporting classified information systems and environments.
• Experience working with Windows and Linux operating systems, Active Directory, networking, and cybersecurity best practices.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity requirements across classified and unclassified information systems.
• Maintain system compliance with RMF, NIST guidance, MDA requirements, and applicable DoD cybersecurity policies.
• Support A&A activities to obtain and maintain Authority to Operate (ATO).
• Develop, review, update, and maintain RMF documentation and supporting cybersecurity artifacts (SSPs, SARs, POA&Ms, etc.).
• Conduct continuous monitoring activities, including vulnerability management and security control assessments.
• Analyze vulnerability scan results, track findings, and coordinate remediation with stakeholders.
• Support DISA STIGs, SCAP, and security compliance activities.
• Prepare cybersecurity reports, briefings, and metrics for leadership.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior cybersecurity personnel.
