Job summary

Amyx is seeking a Sr. Information Assurance/Security SME for our DoD client in the National Capital Region. The role requires senior-level IA expertise, RMF knowledge, and strong leadership to support DoD defensive cyber operations.

You will lead multi-disciplinary efforts, ensure compliance with DoD 8570.01-M Level 3 standards, and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Ten+ years of DoD IA experience and relevant certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten years of DoD IA experience.
• Must hold one of GSLC, CISSP, CISM, or CISA, or DoD 8570.01‑M Level 3 IAT/IAM certification.
• Minimum eight years of experience with vulnerability management, assessment tools, and remediation actions.
• Eight years of experience with NIST RMF, NIST SP 800-53, STIGs, SCAP, IAVAs, and FISMA.
• Experience supporting DoD defensive cyber operations, including protection, response, and recovery.
• Experience managing complex DoD projects of similar size and scope.

• Lead defense and recovery activities, incident handling, and reporting.
