The role focuses on building and managing program budgets, financial tracking, and coordination of funding forecasts-to-actuals in a hybrid office setting.

The candidate will lead BFM activities, support program managers, and ensure compliance with federal regulations.

Qualifications

• DoD Secret clearance required or ability to obtain.
• Experience with OTAs, grants, contracts, and cooperative agreements.
• Strong knowledge of federal financial regulations and accounting principles.
• Experience with budgeting and PPBE.
• Excellent written and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end program budgets, forecasting, and expenditure analysis.
• Prepare award documents (OTAs, grants, contracts) and track funding forecasts-to-actuals.
• Monitor milestones and ensure financial compliance with regulations and agency policies.
• Develop financial models and high-level briefings for status, risks, and trends.
• Coordinate with contracting officers and legal counsel on contracts and actions.
• Organize program-level workshops and travel logistics as needed.
• Foster collaboration between DARPA staff and external performers.
