Job summary

BlueWater Federal Solutions is seeking a Program Manager to support the USAF at Maxwell AFB. The BMx program provides lifecycle support for enterprise Air Force logistics and maintenance systems enabling global mission readiness and sustainment operations.

You will direct ART-level execution, coordinate governance, manage staffing and risks, and ensure alignment across modernization, sustainment, migration, and cybersecurity efforts for critical DoD systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
• Must have an active Secret clearance.
• 15+ years of enterprise IT and/or program management experience.
• 10+ years of DoD enterprise sustainment or modernization programs.
• Experience managing Agile/SAFe and DevSecOps software delivery programs, including enterprise systems modernization, operational sustainment, release governance, RMF/cATO, cloud migration oversight, and program financial management.
• Experience supporting Air Force, logistics, maintenance, or mission systems preferred.
• SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), PMP, ITIL Foundation or higher, and Security+ CE certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct ART-level execution across all BMx systems.
• Manage contract performance against PWS Section 7.0 metrics.
• Lead Government engagement and operational governance activities.
• Oversee staffing, risk management, scheduling, and operational priorities.
• Chair release readiness and operational governance reviews.
• Coordinate surge response efforts and mission-critical issue resolution.
• Ensure alignment across modernization, sustainment, migration, and cybersecurity activities.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering

Master's degree preferred

Active Secret clearance

15+ years of enterprise IT and/or program management experience

10+ years of DoD enterprise sustainment or modernization programs

Agile/SAFe and DevSecOps delivery

Staffing, risk management, scheduling

Release governance, RMF/cATO, cloud migration oversight

Program financial management

Experience with Air Force, logistics, maintenance, or mission systems

SPC, PMP, ITIL or Security+ certificates preferred
