Job summary

Aether Aerospace is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer IV to monitor, analyze, and detect cyber events while supporting defense-grade cyber security initiatives. You will assess risk, define security requirements, and oversee the deployment of intrusion detection and IA architectures across DoD environments.

You will lead testing, risk assessments, and incident response efforts, collaborating with stakeholders to strengthen security across software and hardware installations and ensure compliance

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with 8–10 years of exp or Master’s with 6–8 years.
• Expertise in cybersecurity principles, risk management and security compliance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and detect cyber events and incidents across networks and information systems.
• Coordinate and maintain security toolsets supporting continuous monitoring and risk assessment.
• Determine security requirements through vulnerability analyses, risk assessments, and business evaluations.
• Implement security systems by specifying intrusion detection methodologies and overseeing installations.
• Conduct security testing, develop test scripts, and verify security systems for compliance and functionality.
• Design, develop, and integrate DoD IA architectures ensuring compliance with security standards.
