Job summary

Referentia Systems, Inc. seeks a Senior Cyber Analyst to apply extensive cyber risk assessment expertise for DoD enterprise systems. The role is onsite in Hampton, VA, working with SCA teams to ensure RMF processes are performed accurately and on schedule.

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years in cyber risk assessment, DoD/NIST familiarity, and DoD 8140 baseline certifications, enabling leadership in evaluating mitigations and guiding policy changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field; Master’s preferred.
• IAM Level II/III DoD baseline certifications required.
• 10+ years of cyber risk assessment experience in AFNET/DoD environments.
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-53, AFI 17-130 and DODI 8510.01.
• Strong planning, organization, and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Active DoD security clearance required.
• Proficiency with eMASS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine vulnerabilities and residual risk from artifacts, interviews, and system state analysis.
• Evaluate effectiveness of mitigations.
• Provide leadership with technical and policy change recommendations to mitigate cyber risk.
• Collaborate with Cyber Analysts, SMEs, and SCA-Rs to meet time and quality standards.
• Train new team members and develop RMF training materials for field personnel.
