Referentia Systems Inc. is seeking a Mid-Level Cyber Analyst to execute cyber risk assessments for DoD/AF systems. The role focuses on information assurance, system security, and networking expertise, with onsite work in Hampton, VA.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in cyber risk assessments, IAM Level II, and familiarity with NIST SP 800-53. Bachelor's degree required; Master’s preferred. Salary ranges from $92,000 to $115,000 with full benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems required (equivalent work experience allowed).
• IAM Level II Certification per DoD 8140 baseline required.
• 5+ years in cyber risk assessment or AFNET/DoD tech experience.

Responsibilities

• Determine system vulnerabilities and residual risk from artifacts, interviews, and current state analysis.
• Evaluate effectiveness of proposed mitigations and controls.
• Contribute to tech/policy changes to assess and mitigate cybersecurity risk within the authorization boundary.
• Collaborate with Cyber Analysts, SMEs, and SCARs to meet time and quality standards.
• Support elicitation of information assurance requirements through customer liaison and research.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
