Job summary

Planned Systems International (PSI) seeks a Senior Credentialing Specialist to lead high-volume credentialing and privileging operations. You will verify licensure, perform PSV/databank checks, and maintain audit-ready files across healthcare professionals, including DoD personnel, while collaborating with applicants and medical staff.

The role emphasizes accuracy, timeliness, and DHA compliance, with supervision of support staff and coordination with the Security & Credentialing Office.

Qualifications

• Five plus years of experience in medical credentialing, including licensure verification and PSV/databank queries.
• Two plus years of credentialing experience with the DoD.
• Ability to interface with all levels of military medical staff and stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for customer relations.
• MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage verification process for all healthcare professionals, including PSV and databank queries.
• Compile applicable security and credential documents and prepare qualification packages for review.
• Oversee timelines, processing, and customer expectations.
• Provide supervision to support staff administering credentialing processes.
• Ensure DHA policies and standards are followed for compliance.
• Generate and email credentialing results and respond to applicant questions.
• Respond to inquiries from Security & Credentialing Office.
• Collaborate with applicants and staff to enhance credentialing functions.
