Job summary

Red Cat Holdings is seeking a Director of Government Contracting to lead U.S. government acquisitions and DoD contracting.

You will provide strategic guidance across the full lifecycle, from capture to closeout, and serve as the senior expert for government contracting matters. Qualifications

• Minimum of seven years of direct Government-side experience as a Contracting Officer.
• Warranted contracting officer with authority for awarding, negotiating, administering, and terminating Government contracts.
• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of education and relevant Government acquisition experience.
• DAWIA/Defense Acquisition credentials or DoD certifications preferred.
• Experience with multiple federal contract types and acquisition strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead administration of government prime contracts, subcontracts, OTAs, and related instruments.
• Interpret SOWs, clauses, deliverables, and funding requirements; advise on obligations and rights.
• Monitor performance and identify contractual, regulatory, and compliance risks.
• Document contract actions and manage modifications and disputes.
• Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Programs, and Operations on labor categories, funding, and deliverables.
• Oversee representations, certifications, SAM.gov registrations, and compliance program.
• Support capture, proposals, bid strategies, and communications with government agencies.
• Interface with Government Contracting Officers and prime contractors to resolve issues.
