Galapagos Federal Systems LLC seeks a Contract Specialist L3 to support the Government Contracting Officer in planning, execution, and administration of DoD acquisitions. This role ensures compliance with FAR/DFARS and related policies, across cradle-to-grave contracting activities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has extensive DoD contracting experience and a TS/SCI clearance, and will work on-site in Colorado Springs.

Qualifications

• 15+ years DoD contracting experience.
• Cradle-to-grave acquisition support experience.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and regulatory processes.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• On-site 100% work requirement.
• Travel up to 10%.

Responsabilités

• Provide cradle-to-grave contracting support to the Government Contracting Officer.
• Conduct market research and help develop acquisition strategies.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate pre-award and post-award documentation.
• Review proposals for completeness, compliance, and responsiveness.
• Conduct cost/price analyses and supporting documentation.
• Assist with negotiation objectives and positions.
• Oversee contract administration, modifications, and invoices.
• Coordinate with DCAA/DCMA and stakeholders throughout the lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and company policies.
