Job summary

Astrion in Shalimar, FL is seeking an experienced Contract Program Manager to lead the TAS 96 Test Wing and Tenants Subcontracts. This role requires directing all facets of program delivery, including SOW/PWS development, pricing, and contract management, with cross‑functional coordination across departments.

The ideal candidate has a US citizenship with an active Secret clearance, 15+ years in program management, 10+ in PM, and PMP/DAWIA preferred.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and active Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree with 15+ years in programs mgmt; 10+ years in PM role.
• Active PMP or DAWIA Level III/Practitioner preferred.
• Proficiency in DoD acquisition, logistics, and sustainment processes.
• Experience in US Army supply chain management within the past 5 years.
• Experience in business process optimization, strategic sourcing, supplier and subcontractor management, and cost control.
• Proven deputy/assistant PM on a large defense contract.
• Experience managing Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Contractor Acquired Property (CAP).
• Ability to identify and mitigate program risks; strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day personnel and technical management of program deliverables (cost, schedule, performance).
• Ensure contract compliance and alignment with customer requirements.
• Coordinate technical efforts across test and evaluation, facilities, and related services.
• Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation strategies; escalate issues as needed.
• Manage financials, budgets, resources, and timelines for successful execution.
• Communicate with internal customers and Astrion leadership; maintain strong relationships with government and prime/subcontractors.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team; provide clear program updates to executives.
• Develop and execute strategic growth strategies; seek opportunities for process improvement.
• Support business development with program insights and forward-looking recommendations.
