Job summary

General Dynamics IT is seeking a COMSEC/Network Administrator to support U.S. Army Europe and AFRICOM missions. You will install, configure, and maintain secure networks, lead troubleshooting, and coordinate with DISA and mission partners to ensure continuity of operations.

Role requires Top Secret/SCI clearance, DoD network experience, and ability to work in a demanding enterprise environment. The position emphasizes cybersecurity compliance and on-call readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience in DoD/enterprise network environments.
• Experience with cryptographic equipment and lifecycle support (COMSEC).
• Knowledge of Cisco routing/switching, CUCM, VPNs, firewalls, and routing protocols.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and during on-call schedules.
• Strong communication with leadership and stakeholdersons.

Responsibilities

• Installs, configures, and maintains Cisco routers, switches, and networking software (Cisco IOS).
• Configures, manages, and troubleshoots LAN/WAN tech including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VPNs, firewalls, CUCM.
• Supports COMSEC equipment, cryptographic devices, TACLANEs and key management.
• Acts as primary POC for network issues at site and coordinates with theater-level leadership and partners.
• Lead and mentor junior technicians for standardization and cybersecurity compliance.
• Track, report, and analyze site-level network issues and trends for leadership.
