Job summary

BB&E is seeking a Senior Engineer to support AFCEC/CFSD at JBSA-Lackland, TX in a remote role. You will provide SME engineering, review designs and submittals, and advise Government PMs on DoD standards while coordinating with AF personnel. Travel to bases and HQ AFCEC is possible.

Qualified candidates bring 10+ years in civil/mechanical/electrical/structural engineering, a PE license, and a MS degree. Proficiency with MS Office and strong communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of DoD/AF engineering and design regulations.
• Ability to review technical deliverables and construction submittals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to diverse audiences.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering SME support and design reviews.
• Review RFIs and approvals for A&E and construction submittals.
• Advise Government Project Managers on compliance and methods.
• Develop and present technical trainings or presentations.
• Travel to Air Force bases and HQ AFCEC as needed.
