Job summary

Quantech Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB) program in Washington, DC.

The role requires mastery of DoD accounting, USSGL, and federal budgeting rules to compile and analyze large data sets using MS Office, especially Excel with pivot tables. The candidate should have a Master’s degree and 10+ years of relevant federal accounting experience, including two years DoD accounting, plus a TS/SCI-like rigor and attention to control

Qualifications

• Accounting degree required.
• Minimum 5 years federal accounting experience including two years DoD accounting.
• Detailed knowledge of USSGL, OMB A-136 reporting requirements, experience using TFM and DoD FMR; CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Typically works on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently; a Senior labor category may oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.
