Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Senior OpenText Documentum developer for a 12+ month contract onsite in Raleigh, NC, with client work also in Richardson, TX and Hartford, CT.

This opportunity offers exposure to enterprise content management, architecture design, and migration projects in a fast‑paced environment. Ideal candidates will bring 10+ years in Documentum, 5+ years REST APIs with Spring, 7+ years Java/Python, and AWS cloud experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience designing, developing, and troubleshooting Documentum applications (Content Server, D2 Config, D2 Classic, D2 Smart View, Brava, CTS, xPlore, DFC Client)
• 5+ years of experience implementing REST APIs using Spring Framework, preferably for Documentum or similar ECM platforms
• 7+ years of experience with Java and Python
• 5+ years of experience working with AWS services including EC2, ECS, RDS, ALB, SSM, SQS, SNS, Lambda, and AWS SDK
• Strong understanding of Agile Scrum practices and ability to mentor junior staff

Job description

Immediate need for a talented Senior OpenText Documentum developer. This is a 12+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Raleigh NC 27369, Richardson TX 75085, Hartford, CT 06101 (Onsite).

Pay Range: $45 - $50/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in designing, developing, and troubleshooting Documentum applications (Content Server, D2 Config, D2 Classic, D2 Smart View, Brava, CTS, xPlore, DFC Client).
• 3+ Years of OpenText Knowledge Discovery and other AI capabilities
• Strong understanding of Documentum architecture, object model, and security.
• Experience with platform upgrades and migrations.
• API Development
• 5+ years of experience implementing REST APIs using Spring Framework, preferably for Documentum or similar ECM platforms.
• Programming & Tools
• 7+ years of experience with Java and Python.
• Proficient in tools and frameworks such as Git, Jenkins, Jira, IntelliJ, Tomcat/J2EE, and relational databases.
• Solid understanding of design patterns and software architecture.
• Software Development Practices
• Familiarity with unit testing, code coverage, deployment processes, vulnerability management, and system monitoring.
• Cloud Experience (AWS)
• 5+ years of experience working with AWS services including EC2, ECS, RDS, ALB, SSM, SQS, SNS, Lambda, and AWS SDK.
• Skilled in troubleshooting AWS deployments, reviewing configurations, security policies, and analyzing logs.
• Agile Methodology
• Strong understanding of Agile Scrum practices such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly. Ability to mentor junior staff in the team.
• Self-Management
• Capable of managing time, tasks, and priorities independently.
• Certifications
• Preferred certifications include AWS, Documentum, and Java
