Job summary

FIG Credit Union is seeking a Senior Engineer with deep Fiserv DNA core banking platform experience to design, build, and support integrations, extensions, and automation that keep core operations running. You’ll be a technical authority on DNA, partnering with product, operations, security, and vendors to deliver compliant, reliable solutions that improve customer and employee experiences.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in software engineering, including core banking platforms
• Expertise with Fiserv DNA core modules and data structures
• Hands-on DNA integration methods: APIs, web services, batch/file processing
• SQL and relational databases, Oracle preferred, with tuning
• Proficiency in at least one programming language and scripting
• Experience with REST/SOAP, JSON/XML, and middleware patterns
• Knowledge of banking operations, payments, and core accounting concepts
• Experience with version control, CI/CD, and release management
• Strong troubleshooting and ability to explain technical issues to non‑technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations between DNA and surrounding systems
• Lead technical delivery of DNA-related projects
• Build and maintain automation, batch processes, reports, and data extracts
• Analyze and resolve complex production issues and drive long‑term fixes
• Partner with Fiserv and third-party vendors on enhancements and roadmap
• Establish engineering standards for code quality, testing, and release management
• Ensure regulatory, security, and audit compliance
• Mentor internal and cross‑functional teams through code reviews and best practices
• Contribute to architecture decisions, capacity planning, and DR/BC testing
