Job summary

GDH is seeking a seasoned network architect to design and implement complex network solutions focusing on DMZ, SASE, and cloud architectures. The role includes developing high-level and detailed designs, ensuring security compliance, and collaborating across teams to meet strategic objectives.

This position requires 10+ years of experience with next‑gen firewalls and vendors like Cisco Nexus, Arista, Fortinet, plus hands-on cloud experience in Azure, AWS, and GCP.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of network architecture, security, and cloud integration experience.
• Proficient with next-gen firewalls and hardware from Cisco Nexus, Arista, and Fortinet.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing (OSPF/BGP), VPN, and network security basics.
• Experience with MS Azure, AWS, and GCP cloud environments.
• Familiar with network automation tools and scripting (Python, Ansible, Terraform).
• Ability to lead multi-vendor projects and manage competing priorities.
• Bachelor-level or higher education, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and contribute to the architectural vision and solution design for network environments.
• Create high-level and low-level network design documents aligned with security and operations.
• Evaluate design submissions for security compliance and technical viability.
• Lead technical discussions, troubleshoot solutions, and guide requestors through complex challenges.
• Serve as liaison between security, engineering, and operations teams.
• Manage and coordinate networking projects ensuring timely delivery and objectives.
• Maintain expertise in network protocols, security tech, and monitoring tools.
• Collaborate across teams to build roadmaps for product and service evolution.
• Develop best practices, templates, and architectural standards for networks.
• Stay current with cloud, security, and automation trends to inform strategy.
